The Auchincruive Agricultural Society (Ag-society) was started in 1993 by the students attending the SAC campus of Auchincruive that studied agriculture.

The aim of the society was to offer events that where more agriculturally themed than the events ran by the Students Representative Council (SRC) which everyone could attend and enjoy.

The society annually holds events such as stock judging and trips to the likes of Agriscot.

One of the highlights of the Ag-societys calender is the annual Agric Ball. This comprises of a 3 course sit down meal and a dance in a venue in Ayr. Its basically the biggest sesh in the whole year!
